Action: Tax office helps solve business issues

ABBOTTABAD: Regional Tax Office Abbottabad Chief Commissioner Pir Pervez Alam has assured prompt action on the issues of the business community, pertaining to holding desk audit of organisations and helping them file returns and statements.   While meeting office bearers of Haripur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, tax consultants and other officials on Thursday, Alam asked the business community to come forward and help FBR achieve revenue targets as this was the only way to bring prosperity to the country.  He said FBR was trying to broaden the tax net so the burden on existing tax payers should be minimised.
