GC Women University holds book fair
More than 100 local and international publishers set up stalls

A large number of book lovers, including students and children, thronged the Government College Women University on the concluding day of the two-day book fair, Express News reported on Sunday.
More than 100 local and international publishers have set up stalls at the book fair. Stalls beautifully decorated with lights carrying books with colourful pictures, stories and cartoons attracted the visitors.
The fair hosted books on a wide range of topics, including education, fiction, politics, regional and international languages as well as colourful titles for children. The fair also showcased old books not easily available in the market.
Most of the books at the fair were sold at discounted prices to encourage reading habits among the people.
A student, Shama Haider, told Express News that she is interested in science and English and has chosen books accordingly.
