After Friday’s bomb attacks in Quetta and Chaman

QUETTA: Special Assistant Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind apprised Prime Minister Imran Khan of the law and order situation in Balochistan and the facilities provided to the victims and their families after Friday’s bomb attacks in Quetta and Chaman.

The premier directed the provincial government to ensure best possible treatment of those injured in the blast in the Quetta market that claimed 20 lives and left dozens injured.

He also reiterated his government’s commitment to take all possible steps for the development of the province. “Balochistan is an integral part of Pakistan. We will ensure standard facilities, including health, education and access to clean drinking water, for the deprived people of Balochistan.”

Rind, who is also the provincial chief of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), also informed the premier about the political affairs of the province and the party’s position over which he expressed satisfaction.

“The mineral rich province has mega investment opportunities. Therefore, the central government has been working to get foreign companies to invest in Balochistan,” the PM reportedly said.
