Youth Employment Expo arranged by USPCAS-E held at a local hotel

PESHAWAR: Hundreds of young graduates gathered to explore employment opportunities at the Youth Employment Expo arranged by US-Pakistan Centre for Advanced Studies in Energy (USPCAS-E) University of Engineering & Technology held at a local hotel, a statement said on Saturday.

The expo was held in collaboration with Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Information Technology Board, World Bank Group and knowledge partners, Sustainable Energy for Pakistan (SEP), Women in Renewable Energy (WIRE), ACCA Pakistan and Khawateen Rozgar Services.

In the day-long event USPCAS-E provided two sessions on interacting with human resource professionals. The first session was focused on job searching, CV writing, interview skills and entrepreneurship whereas the second featured stalls from more than 60 private sector representatives that facilitated visitors through providing information and even interviewing potential candidates for jobs and internships.

Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa for ST&IT Kamran Khan Bangash and UET Vice Chancellor Prof Iftikhar Hussain inaugurated the Youth Employment Expo 2019.
