Football: Warner rubbishes FIFA report

Former Fifa Vice-President Jack Warner has rubbished the allegations made in a secret report by the ethics committee.

LONDON:
Former Fifa Vice-President Jack Warner has rubbished the allegations made in a secret report by the ethics committee of the body, where he and former head of Asian Football Confederation Mohammad bin Hammam have been accused of bribery. “If there’s ‘comprehensive, convincing and overwhelming’ evidence as the report says, why then did Fifa drop all investigations on me?” questioned Warner. “The investigation into these allegations is ongoing and any suggestion that the report is the final conclusion of the committee is false.”
