Arts and Crafts Village holds culture festival in Islamabad

Festival features cultural information, cuisines, music and other activities

ISLAMABAD: A two-day cultural festival "Colours of Islamabad" started at the Arts and Crafts Village on Saturday with family fun activities and recreational opportunities.

The festival was focused on celebrating Pakistan's culture, heritage, lifestyle, musical traditions and handcrafted products to promote and preserve the dying arts, crafts and traditions for the young generation.

It also aimed to engage youngsters in healthy activities, said the organisers.

Celebrating Culture: Sakafat plans Pakistan festival 

The festival features cultural information, shopping opportunity, cuisines, music and various other activities for residents of the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

Visitors enjoyed the artistically designed cultural pavilions displayed art, crafts, handmade cultural products.

The festival also had a display of clothing and beauty accessories.

Moreover there were also food stalls and other activities to provide recreational opportunities to the visitors.
