Only govts that serve are respected: Governor Balochistan

The governor said the parties that contributed to the province’s development had earned the people’s respect

QUETTA: Balochistan Governor Amanullah Khan Yasinzai has said people and political parties who started development projects in the province will always be remembered as governments that serve people have more respect.

“The least developed province desperately needs quality education, health, communication and infrastructure, whose provision is the prime responsibility of the current political leadership,” Yasinzai said while meeting with a National Party delegation led by former chief minister Dr Malik Baloch.

The governor said political parties must foster political maturity. Sharing views on democratic system in the country, Yasinzai said fortunately democracy is strengthening in Pakistan, which, he said, is the only source to address public issues.

Balochistan Governor Amanullah Khan Yasinzai has stressed the need for political parties to show maturity so that province’s development remains the top priority.

“Balochistan is the country’s least developed province. It desperately needs quality education, healthcare and a proper infrastructure,” Yasinzai told a delegation of the National Party which met him on Friday. The delegation was led by former Balochistan Chief minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch.

The governor said the parties that contributed to the province’s development had earned the people’s respect.

Speaking on the democratic system in the country, Yasinzai said that fortunately democracy had strengthened in the country and it was the only way to address public issues.
