A 40-year-old man identified as Usman Othar died of a snakebite in Keti Bunder on Tuesday night. The victim was a resident of Ali Muhammad Othar village, located around 100 kilometres from the coastal town. He died because the four health units near his house did not have the antidote. He was first taken to a health unit in Keti Bunder and then to Gharo, Baghan and Mirpur Sakro but in vain. In the end, he was referred to Karachi but he died on the way.
