Murder: Man axed over water supply

His cousins beat him up with axes and knives.

SARGODHA:
A young man was allegedly axed to death over a dispute involving field water on Wednesday.  According to police officials, Chak 39SB resident, Umer Farooq Sahi, quarreled with his relatives over the use of water for his fields. His cousins, Ghulam Mustafa, Abdul Rauf and Saifullah, beat him up. The accused attacked Sahi with axes and knives. Local residents put a stop to the fight and shifted Sahi to the hospital. Sahi died on his way to the hospital. Kirana Police registered a case against the three men.
