Capital Punishment: Man sentenced for killing 10 people of one family
The ATC judge orders that accused be hanged till death, issues fine of Rs5 m which would be paid to deceased family.

Anti-Terrorists Court (ATC) Judge Raja Muhammad Arshad has awarded capital punishment to Muhammad Nawaz for ten counts of murder. Nawaz was sentenced on Wednesday and was also issued with a fine of Rs5 million. The accused was found guilty of killing ten people from the same family over an old feud.
According to police officials, accused Muhammad Nawaz and his six accomplices shot and killed Muhammad Husain, his wife Javey Bibi and their four sons, Shafaqat Abbas, Arshad Hussain, Manzoor Hussain and Zahid.
The accused also killed their three daughters Sahiba Bibi, Ghoarari and Nasira and one grandson Mehdi Hussain, while they were asleep in their house in Bahlak. The six other accused, were acquitted by the court on benefit of doubt.
The case was registered against the accused on the complaint of Usman, husband of deceased Sahiba Bibi, in 2000.
The ATC judge ordered that the accused be hanged till death and issued a fine of Rs5 million, which would be paid to the deceased family as compensation.
