Inclusion of marketing strategy in policy urged

PTI govt trying its best to enhance exports, says Abdul Razzak Dawood

A profitable marketing strategy should be included in economic policy to aid exporters gain direct access to traditional and non-traditional markets so they could play their part in bridging the import-export gap, said Adviser to Prime Minister on Commerce Abdul Razak Dawood.

Addressing the businessmen at Faisalabad Expo 2019, he shared that the government was trying its best to enhance exports and in this regard, various facilities were being doled out to exporters.

Speaking on the occasion, Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) President Syed Zia Alumdar Hussain pointed out that majority of the local industrial units produced international brands for leading retail stores of American and European countries.


These brands were acknowledged all over the world because of their quality, innovative designs and competitive rates, he highlighted. Hussain urged Pakistani industrialists to introduce their own brands in a bid to receive better prices for their products.
