PM offers condolences to families of six schoolgirls died in Bhakkar accident
According to police, girls were on their way home after appearing in their examinations when the accident occurred
A day after the deadly road mishap, Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday expressed condolences with the families of the Bhakkar accident victims, in which six schoolgirls and their rickshaw driver died.
"Terrible loss of young lives in the accident in Bhakkar which killed 6 girls returning from school and their rickshaw driver," PM Imran wrote on his official Twitter handle.
"My prayers and condolences go to the families of the victims." he added.
On Saturday, seven people died while two others suffered injuries when a speeding bus crashed into a rickshaw near Sarai Muhajir, Bhakkar.
According to police, the six girls were on their way home after appearing in the examinations. They were students of matriculation.
