Faisalabad ATC hands 20 death sentences to murderer

FAISALABAD: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Faisalabad on Wednesday sentenced a man to death 20 times and fined him five million rupees for the murder of ten members of a family, Express 24/7 reported.

Mohammad Nawaz, resident of Okara, had murdered 70-year old Mohammad Hussein, his wife, four sons, three daughters and a maternal grandson.

A case had been registered by Hussein’s son-in-law.

The ATC sentenced Nawaz to death, fined him five million rupees and 25 years imprisonment if he fails to pay the fine.

Seven others accused in the case were declared innocent.

The plaintiff has submitted a write in the Supreme Court challenging the decision of the high court.
