Ehsas, Sehat Insaf Card will be extended to Sindh: PM Imran

PM meets delegation of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan on first day of Karachi visit

Prime Minister Imran Khan has announced that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-led federal government will extend its poverty alleviation project, 'Ehsas', and public healthcare initiative, 'Sehat Insaf Card', to Sindh.

The announcement came at a dinner hosted by Sindh Governor Imran Ismail to welcome the premier in Karachi on Friday night.

PM Imran said the federal government was providing resources for timely completion of development schemes in Sindh. He said the federal government was working hard to improve public welfare efforts and their benefits would be extended to all provinces.


On Saturday, the premier chaired a meeting of the Karachi Transformation Committee and is expected to soon announce a special development package for the metropolis.

PM Imran will also inaugurate the Bagh Ibn-e-Qasim in Clifton later today, before leaving for Khan Garh where he will address a public gathering from the palace of Grand Democratic Alliance's (GDA) Ali Gohar Khan Mahar.

He will also hold a meeting with other members of the GDA.


On Friday, the premier met a delegation of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement - Pakistan in Karachi.

The delegation members included Minister for Information and Technology Dr Khalid Maqbool, Amir Khan, Nasreen Jalil, Kunwar Naveed, Faisal Sabzwari and Karachi Mayor Waseem Akhtar.
