Bomb hoax: Data Darbar declared 'clear' after evacuation
Caller tells Rescue 15 blast had taken place at Data Darbar, BDS declares area safe.

A call about a blast taking place in Data Darbar Complex turned out to be a hoax after the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) declared the area ‘clear’ on Tuesday evening.
Rescue 15 received the call from a person calling himself Aftab at 8:21pm. The caller said that a blast had taken place at the shrine.
Superintendent of Police (SP) City, Dr Shehzad reached the site along with the BDS and evacuated the shrine immediately.
The arrival of the police and evacuation caused panic amongst the visitors at the shrine.
The BDS pronounced the shrine and surrounding areas clear two hours after the call was made.
Police is trying to track the caller and action will be taken once he is found.
