PTI reacts to PPP’s train march
MPA Haleem Adil Sheikh says march aimed at defending alleged corruption of Asif Ali Zardari
HYDERABAD:
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sindh’s President, MPA Haleem Adil Sheikh, while reacting to Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) on-going train march, said that the march is aimed at defending the alleged corruption of PPP Co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari and his associates.
“We staged the Defence of Pakistan march [earlier this month] and they [the PPP] are staging a defence of Zardari’s corruption march,” Sheikh said while talking to the media in Hyderabad on Thursday.
He contended that as Bilawal travels through the urban and rural towns of Sindh, he will be welcomed by the roads with potholes, overflowing sewage and piles of garbage which have become commonplace in the province.
He claimed that the PPP’s chairperson has not been receiving the welcome at the railway stations in the province which a leader of national stature is supposed to receive.
“Only the PPP’s chairman, provincial ministers and their men were present in the train march,” he said. “This seemed like a march of the NAB-wanted ministers.” Sheikh informed that Prime Minister will visit Ghotki district on March 30.
