Boat rally held by Pakistan Coast Guards

Around 20 meticulously decorated boats by local fishermen and residents of surrounding villages participated in a Pakistan Day rally organised by Pakistan Coast Guards (Marine Wing) on Saturday. The boat rally that marked its beginning from Manora and culminated at Keamari managed to draw the attention of many citizens. The boats were decked with colourful buntings and flowers carrying children holding the national flag and chanting slogans. A boat race was also carried out, which was won by Hameez Kazim. The coast guards Director-General Sajjad Sikander Ranjha distributed prizes among the winners and said that such recreational activities will be regularly held in Korangi.
