Walk held on World Water Day
WASA managing director urges citizens to play their role to control the wastage of water
MULTAN:
Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) organised an awareness walk on Friday in connection with World Water Day to sensitise citizens about importance of water.
The walk led by WASA Managing Director Rao Muhammad Qasim started from WASA head office Shamsabad and concluded at Chungi No-9.

Speaking on the occasion, MD said that there was no concept of life without water and urged the citizens to play their role to control the wastage of water.
He said that WASA Multan was striving hard to provide neat and clean water to 55% of the city population. Deputy Managing Directors Naseem Khalid Chandio, Nighat Jabeen, Directors Mushtaq Khan, Mian Abdul Ghafoor and other staffmembers attended the awareness walk.
