Pakistan welcomes investment from UAE in water resource projects, other sectors
ISLAMABAD:
Pakistan welcomes investment from UAE in water resource projects and other sectors, said Federal Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda while briefing a UAE delegation, led by Sheikh Ahmed Dalmook Al Maktoum from the Royal Family of Dubai. He said that this was the best time to invest in Pakistan as investors were being facilitated through one window services. The delegation was further briefed on various investment opportunities in Pakistan, particularly regarding construction of dams, hydel and solar power. Bilateral cooperation in the field of water resources including construction of dams and hydropower projects was also discussed during the meeting. The UAE delegation expressed its keen interest and commitment to invest in the Pakistan and offered complete support.
