Army chief congratulates everyone involved in making tournament a success

Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor on Sunday said that successfully hosting the Pakistan Super League 4 in the country was the best answer to its enemies.
The head of the military media wing made the remarks while speaking to the media inside Karachi's National Stadium on the occasion of the tournament's grande finale.
He also took to Twitter, saying Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has congratulated everyone involved in successfully hosting the T20 tournament, starring international superstar cricketers.

"COAS congratulates all on successful organisation of PSL especially PCB, all teams, organisers, administration, Sindh Rangers, Sindh Police, Law enforcement agencies and people of Karachi," he wrote.
The army's spokesperson said the nation exhibited solidarity amidst difficult circumstances while the armed forces gave a befitting response to New Delhi's military aggression.
Maj-Gen Ghafoor said the successful completion of PSL 4 is commendable and would pave the way for the revival of international cricket in Pakistan.
"The next edition of the tournament will be organised completely in Pakistan," he added.
He said that all cricket stadiums across the country would be upgraded in line with modern requirements.
