Education: Inter exams start today
A total of 65,176 candidates will appear for exams at 77 different examination centres

The second phase of annual examinations for the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) is set to start June 21 (today) and will continue till July 11, said BIEK chairman Prof. Anwar Ahmedzai on Monday. “A total of 65,176 candidates will appear for exams at 77 different examination centres in the city,” he said. According to Ahmedzai, all arrangements have been finalised and student ID cards have been distributed. Law enforcement agencies have been contacted for necessary security arrangements. The Karachi Electric Supply Company has been requested to exempt the centres from load-shedding for the convenience of the candidates.
