Makran highway: Bus crashes into mountain, 15 dead
At least 15 people died and 18 sustained injuries in a road accident on the Makran Coastal Highway.

At least 15 people, including five Uzbek nationals, died and 18 sustained injuries in a road accident on the Makran Coastal Highway on Sunday.
The accident happened in Butkoh area, about 55 kilometres from the coastal town of Ormara, when a passenger coach heading from Karachi to Mand, a town bordering Iran, crashed into a mountain.
“The incident took place apparently due to reckless driving,” a local official in Mand told The Express Tribune.
The driver was also killed in the accident. Local sources said the accident took place at a blind curve on the highway where the driver lost control over the vehicle and rammed it into the mountain.
