UoP sets up SDG research unit
The unit to collaborate with the parliamentary taskforce on SDGs of the National Assembly Secretariat in Islamabad

As part of its efforts to meet the sustainable development goals (SDGs) of the United Nations, the University of Peshawar has decided to set up a dedicated
research unit.
The unit will be set up in the University of Peshawar (UoP) Department of Environmental Sciences and will collaborate with the National Parliamentary Taskforce on sustainable development goals (SDGs) of the National Assembly Secretariat in Islamabad.
Dr Asif Khan Khattak, an assistant professor at the department, has been assigned the additional responsibility of acting as the coordinator for the SDGs Research Unit.
As the focal person, he will ensure the coordination of the research unit with all stakeholders both internally in the UoP and externally including the National Parliamentary Taskforce on SDGs
