Given the tense situation on Pakistan's eastern borders, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah reviewed on Thursday the security and administrative arrangements in the province.
The CM had also chaired a similar meeting on Wednesday night at the CM House. He followed up on the arrangements made so far and directed Chief Secretary Mumtaz Shah to keep the scouts prepared.
Sindh apex committee meeting focuses on street crime
The chief secretary briefed the CM about the cancellation of leaves of staff members of essential services including hospitals and local government. He added that the divisional and district administration had been given directions in accordance with the standard operating procedure (SOP).
