Educators urged to emphasise peace, keep children away from sectarianism

IIUI president urges teachers to teach children to have a love for soil and religion

International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) President Dr Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh called upon the teaching fraternity to keep children away from sectarianism and violence.

He urged teachers to teach children to have love for soil and religion. He also stressed upon unity of the Muslim world to counter the prevailing challenges. He said Islam is a religion of peace and this message must reach to all corners of world. The IIUI president maintained that love for humanity and peaceful co-existence must be promoted across the world.

He said this while speaking at the Islamic Orientation Course (IOC) for 40 school teachers of FATA organised by Dawah Academy of the IIUI and concluded at the Faisal Masjid campus of the university.

The programme was aimed at spreading Islam’s message of peace through respected professionals of society.
