Hunza lake discharge continues
HUNZA:
The current water discharge from spillway of the Attabad Lake is around 4,000 cusecs while helicopter services have also resumed in the area.
Officials are monitoring the spillway closely at regular intervals. Although the spillway is already being eroded, experts say the real test of strength for it will be when it has to bear a discharge of 1,200 cusecs.
Meanwhile, locals have said they are satisfied with food supply provided to them and arrangements made by the government.
