QUETTA: The government of Balochistan has decided to take strict action against government officials who are active in politics.
According to official sources, it has been identified that employees working in various government departments are taking active part in politics and have affiliations with political parties in the province.
Sources said the authorities concerned have taken serious notice of the reports and decided to take action against such government employees as it is sheer violation of code of conduct of the service.
“Government is going to take legal action against such employees under BEDA Act with immediate effect,” an official source said, adding that under said act such government employees could be sacked from their service.
