Central Selection Board meeting on Feb 22

ISLAMABAD:
A brief meeting of Central Selection Board has been called on February 22 to review the judicial orders for the retired and deferred promotions of officers on grade 20 and 21.

The cases of 54 retired officers from different services and groups along with 23 on duty ex-cadre cases will come under consideration.

The meeting will start at 2 pm with Federal Public Service Commission’s Haseeb Athar in chair.


Nominated members of National Assembly Syed Fakhar Imam, senator Shibli Faraz, former federal secretary Saqib Aziz, finance secretary Arif Ahmed Khan, human rights secretary Rabia Javeri Agha, secretary food Hashim Popalzai, federal secretary (retd) Jamil Ahmed including secretary establishment division, secretary cabinet division, four chief secretaries and rector National School of Public Policy as co-official members will attend the session.

For police service, secretary interior, IG Punjab, DG National police bureau Shaukat Hayat and grade 22 police officer Iqbal Mehmood will participate in the meeting.

A panel of seven retired police officers for promotion in grade 21 of Police Service of Pakistan has been constituted whereas for grade 20 a panel of three retired police officers has been formed.

The promotions of 17 retired officers of Pakistan Administrative Service are under consideration.
