Young Doctors Association: Doctors skip duties as strike continues
Strike was also observed in all district headquarters hospitals in interior of Balochistan
QUETTA:
Junior doctors continued their province-wide strike at all state-run hospitals of Balochistan on Friday, while they also skipped their duties at emergency wards of government hospitals. Strike was also observed in all district headquarters hospitals in interior of Balochistan in response to the call given by Young Doctors Association. The striking doctors vowed to continue their strike until their demands are met, and threatened to march to Islamabad. Patients visiting these hospitals, however, condemned the doctors for being ‘inhumane’ and asked political parties to not extend any support to them.
