Hepatitis C prevention: Treatment course for patients
The provincial coordinator of the programme has allocated a quota for public hospitals

The programme for the Prevention and Control of Hepatitis in Sindh has received a six-month treatment course for 1,559 patients. The provincial coordinator of the programme has allocated a quota for public hospitals, after receiving the course. According to a letter addressed to the Chandka Medical College Hospital medical superintendent, Larkana, the quota is for only 100 patients whereas an estimated 1,000 hepatitis patients are being treated.
