Power woes: Protesters surround HESCO office
The residents surrounded the utility’s office while Hesco staff refused to work in protest.
HYDERABAD:
Residents of Latifabad No. 4 reached the office of the Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (Hesco) to complain about the suspended power supply but the utility’s staff allegedly refused to register any complaints and even beat them. However, the Hesco staff said angry protesters broke into the office and assaulted them. The residents surrounded the utility’s office while Hesco staff refused to work in protest.
