Govt to launch 'Kamiyab Naujawan' programme
10 million youngsters to benefit from the programme
ISLAMABAD:
The federal government has decided to launch the ‘Kamiyab Naujawan’ programme to empower the country's youth.
Finance Minister Asad Umar said the government is taking concrete step to help the youth achieve success, and the project was being launched for their welfare.
The government has fixed Rs200 billion for the project and one million youngsters will benefit from the programme.
Sources said micro-financing facilities will be provided to young entrepreneurs as part of the plan, which will be formally launched after approval of the prime minister.
Special Assistant to the PM Usman Dar said the government is undertaking initiatives to create employment opportunities for youth.
