419 graduate Competency Based Training programme at SZABIST

Programme funded by the European Union and governments of Germany and Norway

Young men and women completed a special workplace-based training programme on Wednesday at the Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology (SZABIST) in Karachi.



Funded by the European Union and governments of Germany and Norway, the training was backed by the TVET Sector Support Programme. The programme aimed to promote workplace-based training of the youth.



Out of the 449 trainees enrolled in the Competency Based Training (CBT), 419 graduated including 133 women. The students hailed from across the province.  Head of Cooperation of the EU delegation in Pakistan Milko van Gool awarded the completion certificates.
