Three gunned down in Larkana
Saeed Gul Khan, a son of Waheed, told local media that they hail from Bajaur agency and had arrived in Larkana around a month ago. According to him, his father was travelling towards Naudero along with his two relatives when they were attacked.
Naudero Police later registered an FIR on the complaint of Saeed, nominating two unknown assailants under Sections 302 and 324 of the Pakistan Penal Code. The bodies were handed over to the family after postmortem.
Reactions
CM Shah described the incident as a painful occurrence, warning that he will consider anyone who tried to sabotage the peace in Sindh by killing innocent people as his personal enemy.
"People living in Sindh regardless of any language they speak, are Sindhis," he stressed.
He directed Larkana Police to arrest the killers and to add sections of the Anti-Terrorism Act in the FIR. He also asked the police to accompany the bodies to Bajaur and facilitate the bereaved families.
General Secretary of Grand Democratic Alliance Ayaz Latif Palijo also condemned the killing and demanded immediate arrest of the killers.
"Sindhis, Pakhtuns and all Pakistanis are brothers," he said. According to Palijo, Awami National Party's leader Shahi Syed contacted him after the incident and asked him to work for maintaining harmony in Sindh.
Palijo asked the provincial government to expose the conspiracy behind the killings. "The people who have planned the killing want to spread violence and terrorism in Sindh and whole Pakistan."
Senator Sassui Palijo said the people of Sindh reject ethnic violence and racism. She asked the police to take swift action against the killers.
