QAU plans moot on ecosystem
The one-day conference will be held on February 14, at QAU
ISLAMABAD:
The Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) Islamabad will hold a conference titled "Building Innovative Pakistan, through Science, Technology and Innovation Policy" to bring together the academia, industry and government organisations. The conference aims to help organisations work towards the development of science, technology and innovation. The current innovative ecosystems in Pakistan will be discussed and evaluated to outline ways in which Pakistan’s economic development can be enhanced through innovation. The conference will attempt to assess and respond to the challenges Pakistan is currently facing. The one-day conference will be held on February 14, at QAU. The policy conference will share how to connect science with society, strengthen education and science, technology and innovation (STI) organisations. The participants of the conference will also deliberate and try to explore best possible ways to increase exports, develop industries and achieve socioeconomic development through science and technology initiatives.
