Earlier, CM Shah directed IG Sindh Dr Kaleem Imam to constitute an inquiry team to conduct a thorough investigation of the matter. Shah further directed that the team should be led by a senior police official. He also instructed the IG to update him on day-to-day progress.
On February 6, Ranjhani was killed by the union council chairman in Karachi's Bhains Colony. Sources privy to the development maintained that the chairman did not allow those present on the spot to take the victim to the hospital.
