LAHORE: A lawmaker of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) demanded of the federal government to clear position over Indian spy Kalbhushan Jadhav's presence in Pakistan.

The demand was put forward by PML-N's MPA Hina Pervez Butt in a resolution she submitted in the Punjab Assembly Secretariat on Friday.

Butt said Federal Minister Ali Amin Gandapur expressed doubts in an interview that Kalbhushan had left Pakistan. She said the house of the assembly expressed its grave concern over this statement.

She said Gandapur made the presence of Kalbhushan doubtful at a time when his case is being taken up in the International Court of Justice.

She added that the minister neither knew about the exact date of Kalbhushan's proceedings nor did he know that the court was going to hear his case.
