Police hunt down 26 criminals in Kasur

Raiding teams seize narcotics, arms and ammunition, liquor bottles and other valuables from the outlaws

KASUR:  

Kasur police rounded up 26 criminals, including five wanted gangsters, during different raids across the district on Thursday.

Officials told Express News that the force received a tip off that wanted criminals, belonging to notorious gangs, were present in different places of Kasur.
Police teams conducted raids and nabbed the suspects, who were identified as Imran, Usman, Irfan, kashif, Waheed, Shafique, Owais and others.

Raiding teams also seized narcotics, arms and ammunition, liquor bottles and other valuables from the possession of the outlaws. Police said that the accused were involved in committing robberies, street crime, murder cases etc. The culprits were wanted by different police stations in several criminal cases across the district.

Police have registered separate cases against the suspects and opened investigations.

A few days ago, police arrested three members of a notorious bandit gang in Rahim Yar Khan’s Khanpur area.

According to details, Zahir Pir Police Station SHO Saifullah Khan and his team conducted a successful raid at a hideout after receiving a tip off. Officials arrested three wanted bandits from Jorani gang. The accused were identified as Ayub Jorani, Asif and Shahbaz.

A Kalashnikov, repeater gun, pistol, bullets and Rs0.2 million in cash were seized from the possession of the outlaws.
