PM Imran to visit Dubai on Feb 10
Will attend 7th World Government Summit, meet UAE leadership
Prime Minister Imran Khan is set for a day-long visit to Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) on February 10, the Foreign Office said on Thursday.
Heads of states, policy makers, business leaders and experts will attend the event to discuss current and future opportunities to improve governance through reform, innovation and technology.
"Prime Minister’s participation will underscore Pakistan’s strong interest in the knowledge economy, artificial intelligence, green development and the importance of innovation for growth," the communique read.
In his keynote address at the summit, the prime minister will highlight his vision for Pakistan, and encourage investment in different sectors of the country's economy.
Accompanied by ministers of foreign affairs, finance, maritime affairs and adviser to the prime minister on commerce, he will also meet the leadership of UAE.
