Honour Crime: Woman killed ‘over suspicion’
'Makkoana suspected the character of his wife, Fatima': Neighbours.
FAISALABAD:
A woman was killed allegedly by her husband in Sadar police precincts on Wednesday night.
According to the neighbours, Muhammad Shaukat of Makkoana suspected the character of his wife, Fatima. They said the two had a quarrel on Wednesday night following which Shaukat allegedly attacked his wife with an axe. They said she died on the spot.
The body was later sent for a post-mortem. Saddar police said they were investigating the incident and would soon arrest the accused.
