A few days ago, unidentified accused car abducted 17-year-old Abdul Rehman from Fatah Garh Chowk. After the incident, the culprits demanded Rs1 million from the victim’s family as ransom.

The boy’s father registered a case at Saddar police station against the suspects. Later, a police team, headed by Inspector Javed Hussain, traced the kidnappers and conducted a raid at a hide-out.

The police arrested the accused identified as Iqbal, Asadullah and Hamza and shifted them to the police station for interrogation.

During this time, the abductor called the child’s family to negotiate, but officials were unable to trace the call and apprehend the perpetrators. On the other hand, the victim’s paternal uncle claims that H* was murdered on the very day he was kidnapped and that no call for ransom was ever received.
