Naval ship Aslat, jointly manufactured by Pakistani and Chinese engineers in Karachi, was handed over to the Pakistan Navy on Thursday.

This is the last ship of four 'Sword' or 'Zulfiqar Class' frigates jointly manufactured with China.
Speaking at the launch ceremony, Naval Admiral Nauman Bashir said the manufacturing experience will improve the Karachi Ship Yard's building capacity.
He also said the manufacturing of frigates highlights the government's priority towards defence.
