Health, agriculture to be prioritised
Chief secretary of Balochistan says provincial government is likely to increase salary packages of its employees.
ISLAMABAD:
The Balochistan budget for the year 2011-12 with an expected outlay of Rs160 billion will be announced on June 21.
The chief secretary of Balochistan, Ahmad Bakhsh Lehri, said the areas of priority in the upcoming budget will include agriculture, livestock, communication, health, education and access to clean drinking water. He said the provincial government is likely to provide relief to its employees by increasing their salary packages and other facilities.
