Meeting reviews progress in hospitals after PM’s visit
PC-1 of Rs.800m has been sent to Punjab govt and the remaining work would be completed after funds are released

The review meeting has expressed its satisfaction on the implementation orders of Prime Minster Imran Khan after his visit to three hospitals recently while it has been tasked to carry out the remaining orders in the next month.
Yesterday ,a meeting was conducted at medical university new teaching block in which the medical superintendents of Benazir Bhutto General Hospital , Holy Family Hospital and District Headquarter Hospitals took part while it was chaired Rawalpindi Medical University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Umar.
Only six ventilators at DHQ Hospital Rawalpindi
It was pointed out in the meeting the some ninety beds in Children’s ward and fifty beds in Gynecology ward were increased in Holy Family Hospital. Further, some thirty beds in Children’s ward have been increased while the renovation of Gynaecology Ward in District Headquarters Hospital would be completed by next week. Now it was not needed now to keep few patients on a single bed.
Moreover, the cleanliness system of the hospital has also been improved. The seepage in the hospital building has also been overcome while beds have also been changed while the hospital would soon be installed with equipment.which is lacking.

Further, a PC-1 of Rs.800 million has been sent to Punjab Government and the remaining work would be completed after funds are released.
Dr. Muhammad Umar also directed the attendants to keep a check on the attendance of doctors , professors and staff duty timings, particularly in evening and night shifts.
He further directed to make a swift provision of medicines to patients to save them from any difficulties.
