HYDERABAD:
A man strangled his wife to death over an 'argument' in Hyderabad's Sachal Sarmast colony on Saturday.
Local police said the suspect identified as Kashif Shamim killed Samra, in a fit of rage after having a heated argument with her.
Authorities reached the scene and took Shamim into custody with the body of the deceased shifted to hospital for a postmortem.

In a similar incident last year, a woman was 'shot dead' by her husband over a domestic dispute in Faisalabad.
Authorities said Tayyab Haneef, the alleged culprit, had a heated argument with his wife Haleema Altaf, prior to the murder. In a fit of rage, the man allegedly opened fire on her spouse, killing her instantly.
