Ramzan Sugar Mills: Reference against Shehbaz, Hamza to be filed before Feb 7
Remand of Shehbaz, other co-accused in Ashiana Iqbal case also extended till Feb 7

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Thursday informed an accountability court that the Ramzan Sugar Mills reference against top Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) leaders Shehbaz Sharif and his son, Hamza Shehbaz, will be formally filed before February 7.
Prosecutor Waris Ali Janjua informed Accountability Court Judge Syed Najmul Hasan that the reference had been submitted for the approval of NAB Chairman Justice (Retd) Javed Iqbal.
He assured the judge that the reference will be filed before the next case hearing, which has been set for February 7.
IHC throws out plea challenging Shehbaz’s eligibility
According to the NAB prosecutor, Shehbaz Sharif faces charges of using public funds for private use in the Ramzan Sugar Mills case.
Meanwhile, an accountability court has also extended the judicial remand of Shehbaz Sharif and other accused in the Ashiana Iqbal Housing Scheme case till February 7.
The PML-N president and Opposition leader has been in NAB custody since October 5 last year, when he was arrested by the bureau in connection with the Rs14 billion Ashiana Iqbal Housing Scheme case.
