Three killed in separate incidents in Hazara
Victims include a minor girl and a teenage boy.
HARIPUR:
At least three people including a minor girl were killed in different parts of Hazara Division Wednesday.
According to the police’s account of the first incident, unknown criminals gunned down a teenage boy in the jurisdiction of Nara Amazai police station.
Police told that Irfan, who hailed from Komal village, was shot at with modern weapons and his body was later dumped in a field.
The investigating officer believed that the boy’s family had an old feud in the same village and the police was investigating the case on this line.
The second incident was reported from Havelian, where a young man was hit by a stray bullet during celebratory firing into the air at a nikah ceremony.
Eyewitnesses told that Iftikhar Ahmed of Havelian city was attending his elder brother’s nikah, where some youngsters began firing into the air to celebrate. One of the bulletd hit him in the head, killing him on the spot. Another man was also injured in the firing.
A minor girl was killed when a motor car rammed into a stationary truck near Qazi pur Ghazi.
Police said that Dr Muhammad Ali Khan was driving back home in his car when it collided with a stationary truck, killing Isha Bibi, 4, on the spot.
The accident also injured two other women of the family.
