QUETTA: Provincial Minster for Public Health Engineering (PHE) Noor Muhammad Dumar has stressed that the worker unions should work under the parameters of law and raise voice for their legitimate rights.

“I am not against unions in institutions, but the unions should work under limits and within the ambit of law. They should lawfully raise their voice for their legitimate rights,” he said while addressing the oath-taking ceremony of All Pakistan Clerks Association (APCA) of the environmental protection unit on Wednesday.

The minister said the coalition government is serious in resolving the issues of all employees within available resources. “You should abide by the oath you have taken”.

He said that everyone should contribute in their fields for the development of Balochistan.

He said “We have to bring a change in our behaviors so that we can work for the welfare of society”.
Dummar said that the prevailing issues in the province should be dealt with on emergency basis as Balochistan is resource-rich but backward from other provinces.

The provincial Coordinator of Balochistan government Azeem Kakar said the environment department is vital in view of the climate change. He said that owing to population growth, environmental pollution has increased with leaps and bounds.

Meanwhile, the Environmental Department Director General Tariq Zehri also spoke on climate change.
