This innovative method had been introduced by former district and sessions judge Sohail Nasir.
Under trial suspects, whose charge sheets were not presented before the courts, used to have their attendance marked online from their judicial remand cells in Adyala Jail. Moreover, the online system to record statements of witnesses has also been in mothballs for the past six months.
