Over 30 schemes approved in DG Khan
A number of schemes in the tribal areas of Rajanpur districts have also been given a go ahead

Thirty eight new schemes, including the construction of mini dams, wells and protection bunds, have been approved for the tribal areas of Dera Ghazi Khan and Rajanpur districts.
Dera Ghazi Khan Tribal Areas Political Assistant Ejaz Khaliq Razaki approved these projects in the meeting of the Tribal Area Development Authority (TADA) held on Saturday. He said more than Rs3.8 million would be spent on these schemes.
He maintained that under the TADP, 80% of the funds for these were provided by the Project Management Unit (PMU) while 20% would be paid by the public. The projects would be completed through nongovernment organisations such as the National Rural Support Programme (NRSP). Later, they would be handed over to the relevant community.
These schemes were approved in many tribal areas of Dera Gazi Khan District, including Basti Ghulam Hassan, Basti Wazir Alyani, Basti Mohammad Ibrahim, Basti Ahmed Nawaz, Basti Bakhsh Faqeerani, Basti Murad Ali, Basti Rahim Bakhsh, Basti Nabi Bakhsh, Basti Khamesi Ranglani, Basti Sahib Jan, Basti Rasool Bakhsh, Basti Mansoor, Basti Khuda Bakhsh, Basti Alfalah, Basti Mehmoodabad, Basti Shams, Basti Asimabad, Basti Ghulam Qadir, Basti Naseer, Basti Nizamabad, Basti Shaman, Basti Azmat, Basti Hafiz Masood Ahmed, Basti Yasir, Basti Maqsood, Basti Murad Khan, Basti Bajan and Basti Ahil.

TADA XEN Ashfaqur Rehman, Community Development Specialist Aftab Ahmed Malik, Deputy Director Development Wasim Akhtar Jatoi, CEO Education Abdul Gaffar, Additional Director Livestock Dr Gulam Nizamuddin and officers from departments concerned also attended the meeting.
